Outstanding accommodation

A little piece of paradise in B.C

Our recent stay at this enchanting rental was nothing short of magical. From the moment we arrived, the breathtaking views of the crystal-clear waters and lush surrounding forests left us in awe. The house itself is a perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort, seamlessly blending into the stunning natural landscape. The interior of the home is beautifully designed, with large windows that let in ample natural light and offer unobstructed views of the water. The kitchen is well-equipped, allowing us to easily prepare meals while enjoying the picturesque backdrop. The beds were very comfortable, and even though the weather was very warm, we did not find it too hot in the house. One of the highlights of our stay was the private deck that extends over the water. We spent many hours lounging here, watching the eagles hunting, and the seals and sea otters frolicking nearby. The direct access to the water meant we could easily indulge in kayaking ( we brought our own), making the most of the serene surroundings. The location is ideal for those seeking tranquility yet remains conveniently close to local shops and dining options.The hosts were incredibly welcoming and attentive, their thoughtful touches and local recommendations made our visit even more special. We especially loved Open Bay and Rebecca Spit. Whether you're looking for relaxation or adventure, this gem on Quadra Island will exceed your expectations. We can’t wait to return!

Relaxing Getaway

Our family of 5 plus small dog stayed here for the long weekend in May. The property is spotless and has more space inside than the pictures show. Fireplace is new, appliances are new, washing machine and dryer are new. It really is a beautiful place. Mark was fantastic at notifying us of restaurants opening for the season during our stay as well as negotiating discounts with local businesses for our leisure. It was almost like having a concierge the whole time. Sunsets are great off the dock and the property is safe for kids and dogs. There is a smaller rock beach part of the property that our kids spent hours playing on each morning. The house is located close to amenities but it feels like you’re “miles away” from it all. One of our favourites so far and we’re definitely staying here again!

Great Spot to Unwind

Well-maintained family cottage on the water. Great spot for wildlife viewing (we saw whales in the bay). Immaculately kept. Handy location for both Q cove and Heriot Bay. Hosts easy to reach and helpful.

Very Special Spot

The cabin was welcoming and well maintained. Loved the dock. The real treasure was the bay we were situated on and all the sea life and boats.

We had a great time with our family enjoying the cabin, ocean views and wildlife spotting! Nice quite location, clean place.

The Harbour House

We had such a nice time at the Harbour House! The location and views were wonderful, and the home was warm and inviting. We really appreciated that the owner has kept the original charm of the log home, while upgrading the things that matter like new beds, furniture and decor, bedding and towels, as well as comfy deck furniture and a good bbq. There are wall mounted TV's for watching movies or streaming series (we didnt use them though) and the Wifi was great for checking in at work occasionally. We ended up spending so much time on the deck watching the ever changing scenery and wildlife, that we hardly left the property. We saw harbor porpoises, otters, seals, sea lions, deer, eagles, herons and more each day and also enjoyed watching the boats, cruise ships and float planes passing through. We did get out to the Farmer's market, Aroma Coffee, Farm to Table (for cinnamon buns!) and walking at Rebecca Spit. The grocery store was handy and well stocked for picking up groceries. It was lovely having a dock to use and a handy swimming spot when it got warm. Mark was so helpful ,friendly, and easy to communicate with and he keeps this home clean and well maintained. You can tell he loves this home. We are already thinking about planning a return trip to the Harbour House. Thanks for making our vacation the best Mark, we appreciate it!

The Harbour House

Beautiful place to stay. Very well maintained and everything working. Clean and comfortable with all the amenities and friendly hosts with good recommendations and quick to respond to questions. Watching the seals breakfast in the mornings was a bonus.
